Easy Perfect Pancakes

Pancakes are a staple at our house. Mickey Mouse, hearts, silver dollars- you name it we've attempted to make a pancake in that shape. I've come up with an easy way to have from scratch pancakes ready to go as quickly as the powder in a box. I make the dry portion and store them perfectly rationed in mason jars, ready to add the liquid. I hope you enjoy these as much as we do!

Classic Pancakes

1 C Flour

1 T white sugar

1 T brown sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 c milk

1 egg

2 tbsp melted butter

Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugars and salt. In a separate bowl whisk eggs, milk and butter. Mix the wet ingredients into a well in the dry ingredients until smooth and let rest for 15 minutes (will rise a little). In a heated greased skillet scoop some batter into whatever shape you feel brave enough to try and good until golden brown on both sides.
